Hand painted endangered Grevys Zebra

The Grevy’s Zebra are the largest of the wild equids. they have longer legs and narrower stripes and are larger than other zebras. They are found in grasslands and savannahs in mainly southern Ethiopia and Northern Kenya, Africa.

This piece was inspired by the uniqueness of these beautiful animals and to raise awareness that their population has declined just over half in the last 3 decades.

The population of Grevy’s today is about 2,800, and the Grevy's is listed as endangered on the Red List of Threatened Species (Africa Wildlife Foundation, 2022).

For anyone who wishes to purchase any of Rosi’s art, with every purchase there is a donation to an animal charity to help protect and preserve these species.

Thank you for your interest. Have a wonderful day.
